PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS & SUCCESS It is said that one day during school hours, a teacher gave her students an assignment to write on a piece of paper what they would like to become when they grew up. As many of students mentioned a variety of jobs, ranging from physicist to astronaut, a young John Lennon wrote down the word “happy”. It was then when the much- used quote came about: “They told me I didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life.” This raises a fairly important idea and discussion about the distinction between success, happiness and failure.
